Course Description
This course will include topics on laboratory operations and principles of laboratory management. Learning resources regarding regulations and legislation will be included, along with resources pertaining to the maintenance of certification and licensure, pertinent to the practice of cytology.
Learning Outcomes
The learner will explain quality control and quality assurance requirements of applicable accrediting/regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, requirements related to competency assessment and proficiency testing.
