Course Description
This course will include topics on laboratory operations and principles of laboratory management. Learning resources regarding regulations and legislation will be included, along with resources pertaining to the maintenance of certification and licensure, pertinent to the practice of cytology.
Learning Outcomes
The learner will explain and use applicable contemporary billing and coding systems including, but not limited to, ICD (International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes.
