Course Description
This course will include topics on laboratory operations and principles of laboratory management. Learning resources regarding regulations and legislation will be included, along with resources pertaining to the maintenance of certification and licensure, pertinent to the practice of cytology.
Learning Outcomes
The learner will describe and recognize the application of Information Systems (e.g., Electronic Health Record, Laboratory Information System) including, but not limited to, viewing patient history, entering results, and signing out cases.
